Marina Pérez-Llorca received her BSc in Biology and her MSc in Environmental Agrobiology from the University of Barcelona in 2016 and 2017, respectively. She completed both her bachelor’s final project and her master’s final project in Cardiff University (UK), studying the ecophysiology of dioecious plants under the supervision of Julia Sánchez Vilas. Furthermore, she held a traineeship in Leiden University (The Netherlands) during 2015. Now, she has joined the team ANTIOX to perform her PhD, focused on the role of phytohormones and the protection mechanisms of the Mediterranean shrub Cistus albidus under several environmental stresses.
